On hold?

Ever find yourself in a state of being "on hold" in your life? How often? How many times or instances have you put your plans, hopes, dreams, ambitions, wants, needs, etc. on hold because of one thing or another? Waiting for the "right time" or "perfect conditions" that never seem to align from your perspective? How often do you actually get back on track to do that "thing" that you put "on hold" for one reason or another? Does life just happen? Time flies and even years go by... and you find yourself wondering... whatever happened to... <THAT THING> that you wanted to do? You may even wonder, how come I never did it?

To be honest... it's easy to find blame for things not working out the way you planned and hoped. I've fallen short numerous times. Then I have to remind myself... or rather... I am reminded that I can still move forward. There is no need to blame anyone or anything... blame is not going to 'undo' anything that's already happened. Blame won't give you back the time lost. Blame won't help you reset to move forward. While blaming life or others is easier... it's not worth it!

Think about the thing(s) you have been putting off because of any reason in your life. THINK :) Can you still do it now? OR can you do something similar or even better? Don't stay "on hold" forever! Time waits for no man :) There is really no point or use crying over spilt milk... What is done is done. Now that you have come to your senses... just do it. No time like the present to just get on with life. Take the steps/action that you need to go forth and achieve whatever that thing is. If it's time to regroup and do something completely new, then do that!

You don't need to keep holding yourself back any longer. Start today! You don't have to scream and shout about what hasn't happened, or what you couldn't do to achieve what you wanted all this time that you had to put "on hold". Get on with it and live life to the fullest. Make a decision to stop living "on hold" and make the most of what is right in front of you. Keep running and stop looking back with regret and disappointment.

Do it all with a SMILE :)

A gentle reminder for you and I: “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you." Read it in context here: Joel 2:23-27

Don't wait another minute... being "on hold".
