When you find yourself in state of brokenness or hopelessness, and you just don’t know what else to do… hope is what will keep you standing and moving forward. Today, I encourage you to give hope to someone who needs it… OR… if you are the one in need of hope… embrace HOPE with wide open arms so that you can keep pressing on. Rebuilding hope takes courage and tenacity because you may be discouraged along the way as challenges and trials come along.
Surround yourself with hope builders in your journey of rebuilding hope… don’t isolate yourself. Don’t overwhelm yourself with floods of thoughts that you won’t or can’t make it through. You will make it through! Remember, it’s never too late! No matter how long it’s been… It may not be instant... but restoration and success will come!
Here are a few reminders for you to ponder on as you are rebuilding hope… for yourself or to encourage someone:
“And you would be secure, because there is hope; Yes, you would dig around you, and take your rest in safety. You would also lie down, and no one would make you afraid; Yes, many would court your favor.” Job 11:18-19
“I will restore the fortunes of my people Israel, and they shall rebuild the ruined cities and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and drink their wine, and they shall make gardens and eat their fruit.” Amos 9:14
“Hope deferred makes the heart sick, But when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.” Proverbs 13:12
“He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.” Psalm 23:3
“Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit.” Psalm 51:12
“For we are glad when we are weak and you are strong. Your restoration is what we pray for.” 2 Corinthians 13:9
“Finally, brothers, rejoice. Aim for restoration, comfort one another, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.” 2 Corinthians 13:11
