Toil with Joy!

Whatever you set your heart to do, work at it with all your heart, mind and soul. Be diligent, consistent and don't give up when you are in the valley, or get prideful when you are on the mountain top. Live a balanced life... have a balanced mindset. Toil with joy! Toil means: "work extremely hard or incessantly." Though there will be times that you get tired and maybe even worn out, always remember your dream, goal - YOUR WHY! The reason you set on the path that you are on.

Don't be discouraged when long periods of "drought" seem to takeover... keep working... you are not walking this journey alone. In the Bible, Luke 5:5-6 demonstrates how powerful it is to keep pressing on: "But Simon answered and said to Him, 'Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net. And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking.'” So remember who to call on in those seasons of drought! The rain will come. The season of drought will end as you continue to be focused on the end goal, your dream. Toil with joy!

Hard work pays off! Dedication is powerful. In the process of toiling with joy, be encouraged by the Word of God! 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12 says: "that you also aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you, that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and that you may lack nothing." Romans 12:11-12 says: "not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer;" As you press on, avoid being "lazy, slothful and careless; maintain your zeal; let your hope be a joy to you." Be balanced. Show patience in all your troubles. Do not live beyond your means for that leads down a path of destruction, fear and anxiety when you can't repay.

Toil with joy and reap the benefits in due season.

Enjoy life to the fullest... no matter the season!

Make every single day count for something!
