As you go through life, there are ups and downs. How you respond to both the ups and downs is what makes you victorious. Or what matters at the end of the day. Sometimes when things go wrong, or just not how you envisioned, you may be inclined to try and disappear hoping that everything will go away and somehow resolve themselves. Remember, the resolution may not come unless you exercise your faith and put things into action/motion.
In Matthew 9:18-19, Jairus took action… fearlessly… without worry about negativity because his need was greater than what anyone would say about or to him… “While He spoke these things to them, behold, a ruler came and worshiped Him, saying, ‘My daughter has just died, but come and lay Your hand on her and she will live.’ So Jesus arose and followed him, and so did His disciples.” Jairus left the issue (his dying daughter) and sought the healer (Jesus) to solve the issue. Jairus had to leave where he was to go call for help. Where are you going to call for help?
How many times do you simply sit there and wallow in your misery or other issue and hope that somehow it will be resolved? No action = No impact = no resolution! It took FAITH for Jairus to arise (ACTION) from his circumstances and belief that Jesus would actually come to heal—raise his daughter. Jesus didn’t “waste” any time. When Jairus asked, Jesus arose and went as requested. Jesus responded to the man’s faith that was seen.
There are times when the response is fast… but it’s not always the case. Nonetheless, a response will come! For example, Jesus could have healed the daughter from where He was (a distance) but He did not. Jesus listened to the request to come and went. How often do you invite or beckon the Lord’s presence to be in the midst of your issue(s)? With reckless abandon, trusting Jesus completely to do only what He can do to resolve things? Read His WORD! He will do it.
Today, enter into His courts with thanksgiving and praise. Call upon Him daily to be engaged in the issue(s) at hand. Exercise your FAITH in ACTION... Trust and believe that the resolution will come in accordance to God’s will… in Jesus’ Name! Amen!!!
