Act...

When you know to ASK... then you know it's time to take action! To act towards achieving the goal or obtaining what you want or desire. It's one thing to know to ask.. but you have to act upon it to follow through with receiving. "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." (Matthew 7:7) When you ACT, an outcome will follow--and you can handle it whatever that is. It's not enough for you to just think about what you want to do and know what you need to do and have the courage to do (or ask for) what you want... you have to go for it! You have to ACT!

Remember seed time and harvest... for the most part, when you plant, you will reap. So, be careful what you plant as you take action towards the ask and act in a way that is wise. I was reminded this morning: "Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” (Luke 6:38) That's some good action right there! ACT - Giving... what a noble idea :) When someone comes to ask you... what will you do? How will you act? Sometimes, to get what you want, you have to be willing to do your part to initiate the reciprocation. But, the act of giving should not be done because you want to get something, giving should overflow from a heart filled with love and grace. You don't give to get... but when you give, something happens to both the giver and receiver :)

As you go through life, there are various ways you can act towards other people that will continue to bring peace and harmony in life. As you start of this new week... another chance to do better than last week... How will you act towards your fellow humans? :) Whether it's your family, friends, co-workers, classmates, strangers, etc. How will you respond to what is done (or not done) to you? Here's one way to respond (act) from the greatest book of all times: "So be merciful (sympathetic, tender, responsive, and compassionate) even as your Father is [all these]. Judge not [neither pronouncing judgment nor subjecting to censure], and you will not be judged; do not condemn and pronounce guilty, and you will not be condemned and pronounced guilty; acquit and forgive and release (give up resentment, let it drop), and you will be acquitted and forgiven and released." (Luke 6:36-37)

And finally, or rather, most importantly, remember to act on cultivating the best relationship on the face of this earth, getting to know your Father (GOD) in heaven, understanding your friend and Savior, Jesus Christ: "And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart." (Jeremiah 29:13). When you act daily in this manner, you will be transformed. How will you act today? This week? the rest of this month?
