Process...

When something has to be done or you want to achieve something, you need to go through the process. You don't just start in the middle or at the end. You don't just start anywhere--you need to start somewhere, preferably at the beginning or top or start of the process. Then there are stages, levels, milestone, steps, etc. that you go through as part of the process. Granted, you need to envision the end result, have a goal so that you know and can focus on what you will gain, achieve or even overcome.

What are you longing for today? What process do you need to go through? Or, how far are you in achieving the goal you set for yourself? Do you need to make any adjustments? Remember, because it is a process, you ought to be able to adapt and sometimes go with the flow. Other times, there are certain steps/stages that you have/need to go through that are necessary for other things to take place. In some instances, there are no shortcuts and you just need to embrace what needs to be done and do it.

Don't rush through anything. It can be as simple as getting through the day--which starts with getting up and out of bed or wherever you sleep. Doing everything that comes with the day (what you have purposed and planned) to get to the end of the day. Or you may be focused on setting up an organization/business and there are applications to be process, purchases to be made, things that need to be set up, etc. Or you want to be in better health (not shape :)) and you just hope... hope alone won't get you there, you need to go through the process or working out and making healthy conscious decisions--it's a process. Or, you could be planning a trip--and you won't end up at the location by just thinking or imagining yourself there. You have to plan, purchase tickets/rent a car, communicate with various people, etc. That's just life!

Most things, if not everything, requires that you go through the process. I even noticed that this morning during my attempt to have quality time with Jesus. I just opened my Bible and started reading 2 Corinthians 3... after a few verses, I realized that I just read words and I really wasn't there. My heart and mind were definitely not completely engaged. (Remember, I am not perfect :)) Then the title of today's blog came to mind: PROCESS! Even having quiet/quality time with Jesus or anyone is a process. There are steps that you go through to get to enjoy the time. I needed to pray first so that I was in the right frame of mind and engaged my heart in the presence of God. Whatever you are trying to achieve, you need to be fully engaged in the process, one step at a time--don't hurry through.

All this to say... life is full of processes that you and I have to go through. Don't hate the process when it gets tough, embrace it! Make adjustments when necessary and do your best to make the most of it! Go through the process! You will be glad you did when you get to the very end!
