I woke up very early with a sense of urgency to remind you and I to DREAM BIG!!! Big dreams come about when you let loose your imagination and SEE yourself in a place or position that is beyond imagination - or beyond reach in simple terms. Remember the "No Limits" post... I believe when you dream big there are no limits to what you believe. Our pastor always says: 'Whatever you are going to get is by faith.' The Word says: "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." (Hebrews 11:1) It takes faith to dream big!
Yesterday, Aurea McGarry spoke at the Nspire Network Ladies' Gala and reminded us that you 'speak what you bring about.' The power of words! I tell you, a lion within me is awakened and I just need God's grace, help and guidance to simply go for it and dream big. What do you need to dream big? Awaken the fearless one within you! What are you speaking over your life, hopes and dreams today? What is your mission in life? What would or could you do if resources were not a limitation? DREAM BIG!!! Beyond the limits! Aurea also reminded us that there will be a tough day, month or even year... but hold on to the skirt... (story for another day). In other words, don't give up when you have your dream. Have goals to achieve the big dream(s).
When you align yourself with God and delight yourself in Him, He will give you the desires of your heart. So you don't have to be afraid! As it is written: "Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass." (Psalm 37:3-5) And you know what's even better... God has big dreams for you! He will do exceedingly and abundantly above what you can imagine or dream: "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us," (Ephesians 3:20)
Today, use the power of your words and imagination to dream big! Don't be distracted or discouraged by the impossibilities or obstacles or how tough the journey may be at first or along the way. Remember God will hold your hand along the way... so hold on to Him: "I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living. Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!" (Psalm 27:13-14) God is faithful: "You have given him his heart’s desire and have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah [pause, and think of that]!" (Psalm 21:2)
As you dream big... I pray: "May He grant you according to your heart’s desire and fulfill all your plans." (Psalm 20:4) Dream big and hold on!!!
