Have you been feeling (or felt) lost and probably roaming about like a "headless chicken" going everywhere but where you are supposed to be? Doing everything else except what you really should be doing to achieve your goal or dream? What is your goal, purpose, hope, desire in this season of your life? Where are you supposed to be? Where are you going--or want to go? What should you be doing? Are you going along with everything else just to keep sane or the peace, and in turn losing yourself in the process? It's time to get back on track! Think about what that means for you.
Maybe you need to redefine your priorities, mission, or how you spend your time and days. Do you have a project/assignment you started a while back and just never finished it, you got side-tracked by other things? "Life" took over and that "thing" was kicked to the curb? Are you even aware that you need to get back on track? Or are you so overwhelmed by life and "stuff" that you don't even realize you are off-track? Whatever the case, maybe you need to take a step back and "start over" something so that you can get back on track to your ultimate destination. No matter what life throws at you...
Getting back on track may seem a little daunting... but all you need it to take the first step! The Word of God reminds us that we don't have to be afraid: "Do not fear [anything], for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation]." (Isaiah 41:10 AMP)
Getting back on track starts with acknowledging where you are, maybe even facing the giants you have been dreading for a long time. Then making a decision to get back on track no matter the challenges. Maybe you need to find a new track--you make the determination. No matter what it is, start moving forward and get out of the "slump" you may be in. Remember, you can't "wish" your way to getting back on track. It is going to take some effort and even some attitude adjustment. Being demanding and feeling entitled won't get you anywhere. Humility, grace, favor, determination, perseverance and having a vision will get you back on track. Readjust your lenses and start seeing things more clearly, for what they really are, and do your part.
You can do it! Get back on track!
