It's time to take the limits off and reach for the sky and beyond! There's really no one else who can block your success more than yourself. You set the course of how today, tomorrow, this week, next month, this year, next year... etc. You get the gist! So, take the limits off! No more excuses. Don't allow the limits to be excuses for not going for it! Whatever those limits are, the mountain is not too high and neither is the valley too low (or deep) that you can't get through. After all, a limit is just "a point beyond which it is not possible to go" and you can get passed the limits you are facing.
As long as you have the vision and are willing to work towards it... the journey won't be too long or take "forever." The dream is not too far off. The dream is within reach! Take the limits off. Focus on what you can do and not what you can't do. Enjoy and use what you have instead of stressing over what you don't have. Imagine a world with no limits! A limitless dream (without end, limit, or boundary). Your mission is to strip off all the limits--especially those that start(ed) with a single thought or statement that you have repeated to yourself over and over... causing you to be a prisoner of that limit(s).
Remove the scales from your eyes and look again. You can do it. Just start! Don't wait... you have been waiting long enough. Let yourself go! Give yourself a fighting chance to live out your dream or mission for the day/week/month/year. Make time to review how things are and then plan the next steps. What is your strategy with no limits to contend with? I have heard the following question asked several times: "If money, time or resources wasn't an issue (limitation), what would you do?" Think about it. What can you do now with what you have? Not what you don't have and wish you had. Don't let your hope or dream(s) frustrate you, let it drive you to achieve it. Stop limiting yourself. As for the naysayers, bid them farewell and stop entertaining them or their discouraging words. Focus and entertain those who will cheer you on, who are lovingly honest and real with you.
PS: If you are in a position of power (access) and have the ability to provide resources to others, don't limit yourself. Do your part to provide access. Go forth and give! Provide these resources to help others achieve their dreams. After all, it's a blessing to be a channel of blessings.
Access: I received the following video from a friend and figured it would be perfect for today's post. No Limits! This young man overcame his limits!
William Kamkwamba: 'How I Harnessed the Wind' (TED Talks, 2009)
In this TED Talk, young Malawian William Kamkwamba describes how he built a windmill to power his family's home aged 14, during a time of poverty and famine. The windmill produced electricity and was built from spare parts and scrap. This moving tale of an invention that changed a young boy's life is a powerful testament to the benefits of education, access to knowledge and self-belief.
Kamkwamba's story is documented in his autobiography, The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind: Creating Currents of Electricity and Hope. A documentary about Kamkwamba, called William and the Windmill, won the Documentary Feature Grand Jury award at SXSW in 2013.
