Welcome to 2017!!! You made it! Today is a great day to be reminded to be fruitful. Let your words be few and your actions speak for themselves in this new season. At the beginning of each year, in the spirit of resolutions, sometimes we create long lists with goals that we want to achieve. While goals are great to have, and we need to have them... there is no need to overwhelm and stress yourself with the whole process. I encourage you to start by keeping it simple this year... and just be fruitful in different areas of your life and you will see real growth and impact, wherever you are.
Fruitful defined: "producing good or helpful results; productive. Synonyms: productive, constructive, useful, of use, worthwhile, helpful, beneficial, valuable, rewarding, profitable, advantageous, gainful, successful, effective, effectual, well spent "fruitful discussions" So, there's really no need to create or give excuses for not being fruitful... for example, if nothing else, you can have basic fruitful conversations with people around you.
Do not be afraid, for you are not walking this journey alone. Some choose to walk with God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit so you are rest assured that you are never alone. I am confident I am not alone when I remind myself that the Jesus is with me and will help me to be fruitful. Another thing to remember is that God uses people in our lives to help us along the way to be fruitful. This year, be mindful of who you interact with and always outwardly appreciate those people that help you to be fruitful. ["Outwardly" I'm thinking... even if that is a phone call, text, card, or email... just to say "THANK YOU."]
Fear and pride will rob you of your ability to reach out to other people for help in your quest to be fruitful since you can't do everything alone. Don't be a prisoner of fear and pride. Two heads are better than one. Even the bible reminds us: "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up." (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10) You don't have to do everything by yourself.
When God created man in His image, He said it is not good for man to be alone--so Adam AND Eve were created and blessed to be fruitful together. "And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth." (Genesis 1:28) God will make you fruitful when you place your

trust in Him and live in obedience to His word. "I will make you exceedingly fruitful; and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come from you." (Genesis 17:6). You will be fruitful when you set your heart and mind to be and put in the time and effort required.
Colossians 1:10 says, "that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;" Fruitfulness brings joy and fulfillment. May 2017 be a fruitful year for you and those around you. BE FRUITFUL!
