Everyday! A special reminder to you: Don't give up on whatever you have set your heart on or on life itself. You may not be able to see a glimpse of the light at the end of the tunnel... a glimmer of hope in sight... but don't give up. You will come through this season of your life or be victorious in what you are working on right now. Don't give up on the relationships that are strained and you're trying to mend (or only thinking about mending them). Don't give up and settle for less than you deserve when you know that things can be done about whatever the situation or issue is. "But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded." (2 Chronicles 15:7)
This journey of life has its ups and downs. At some points, it feels like the downs outweigh the ups. But, if you "breathe" a little, take time to reflect on your life--even just yesterday--you will see and realize that things are not always gloomy. There is always hope and joy if you search for them in any situation no matter what it is. Even when it seems as if your efforts are not being appreciated... don't give up. "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." (Galatians 6:9) It takes effort on your part, so don't easily give in, give up and forget about it. LIVE!!!
Today, you get to choose to celebrate at least one thing in the midst of what you're facing/going through or attempting to do, Today may be a fantastic day and so much to celebrate--have at it! Celebrate and don't apologize for it. OR, today may be a challenging day (PS: I call them challenges because they will be overcomes--come rain or sunshine when you don't give up). You may feel like nothing is worth celebrating. Don't give up because you got up this morning--even if you didn't want to! Other people didn't get to see the beauty of today. Life is a gift and that is certainly worth celebrating every morning when you wake up. That in itself is the starting point of not giving up. Remember: YOU ARE VERY SPECIAL, so never forget that. Giving up is NOT an option or a luxury. Hold on. Be strong!
Don't Give Up! Even God reminds us in His word: "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning!" (Psalm 30:5)
