There is no mountain too high, no valley too low, or river too deep that God can't help you with or rescue you from--He will get to YOU!
What seems like a mountain may only be an anthill and you can easily trample over that without fear of the ants. IT takes FAITH to move mountains... no matter what size! Jesus replied, "Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." (Matthew 17:20) Notice, He said "this mountain" so don't try to move all the mountains all at once... everything is done in portions... one at a time.
While the valley may seem so low and you are stuck there for a very long time, God's grace and presence is right there with you. You may be thinking... What is this season about? Why this valley? How did I get here? How long has it been? Whatever the answers, God is right there with you. A few lessons to be learned, and sometimes, until we learn the lesson(s), we may be "dancing" in the valley for a while. It may suck! But it's only for a while (however long a while is) which may seem like it is forever. Good news is that this too shall pass and you be will out of the valley. Bear in mind, this may be an opportunity for you to rest, so take time to rest in Him. Either way, embrace the valley with Jesus. After all, His word says: "Even though I walk through the darkest valley (or the valley of the shadow of death), I will fear no evil, for you are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me." (Psalm 23:4) Notice "you walk through" so you are never going to be stuck in the valley! God's word declares it and all you need to do is believe it!
No river is too deep or too wide that you will completely drown. You may feel like you are in over your head and can't cope. God is right there, and you can do it all with Him. He will lift you up and you will make it through. You are not alone--look around. Refocus on God, HE WILL COME THROUGH! A reminder to be courageous: "Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD." (Psalm 31:24) In case you may be saying... but I can't swim... YES YOU CAN! Nothing will be impossible for you if you're not doing it in your own strength.
Mountains, valleys and rivers are opportunities to see the hand of God at work in your life... no matter the season! Jesus is always right there with you. Take heart and be of good cheer! Enjoy the day!
